I need a good laugh as I’m sure we will do. I don’t want to say I need it more but I just got news from my union that we (PPS teachers) have to take 4 furlough days (no pay, no work) and there is always a chance they will fire 300 teachers to start the 26/27 school year. That will be my 5th year teaching but I feel as if I’m close to the bottom as we have had a few years of hiring freezes since then. There’s just some extra stress looming and a good laugh won’t cure it, but it will take my mind off of it for a minimum of a few hours!
At times of War, laughter is the cure!

Margaret Cho has been someone I’ve admired since I watched in All-American Girl as a 4th grader. There weren’t a lot of girls on TV who looked like us, so I was in awe to see her on screen. Have always wanted to see her comedy set live, but never have had a chance.
