The Dinner Detective is an interactive murder mystery dinner experience. Actors are planted throughout the room as fellow guests and are not in costume. The crime scene is the entire venue. Nobody knows who the killer is, and nobody knows who might be a performer. That tension is exactly what makes it unlike any other dinner theater in Portland. Guests enjoy a full plated dinner while interrogating suspects, gathering clues, and working to solve the case before the night ends. The detective who cracks it wins a prize package.

Every ticket includes a three-course dinner featuring a mixed green salad, choice of Roasted Rosemary Chicken, Rockfish, or a Lentil Stuffed Sweet Potato entree, and a Flourless Chocolate Torte for dessert. A fully stocked bar is available throughout the performance. Wait staff gratuity is included. Beverages and performer gratuity are separate.

• How much do tickets cost? General admission tickets start at $74.95 per person. Local taxes and fees are added at checkout. Performer gratuity is optional and not included in the ticket price. Pricing may increase for high-demand dates and holidays.

• What should I wear? Business casual to dressy casual is the standard. Nice jeans are acceptable. Shorts, t-shirts, and hats are not permitted. Guests who do not meet the dress code will be turned away at the door.
• Do I have to participate? Participation is encouraged but not required. The show is interactive by design, and other guests may approach and interrogate you as part of their own investigation, but you are never forced to take center stage.
