Released this summer, Silver Deliverer marks Aly & AJ’s sixth studio album and their most personal work to date. Written and recorded in Topanga Canyon, the record blends California rock, folk storytelling, and analog textures that nod to the Laurel Canyon era while sounding refreshingly modern. I loved listening to Aly & AJ growing up! They were a big part of my childhood, and would be cool to see them live as an adult. “Potential Breakup Song” is still a bop, and I was happy every time I heard “Rush” on Bratz Rock Angelz.
