Toad the Wet Sprocket made music headlines in the late ’80s and early ’90s featuring an eclectic alternative rock sound that pairs a number of musical stylings, including rock, country, pop and folk. The band was founded by Glen Philips, Randy Guss, Dean Dinning and Todd Nichols. Their native California roots can be identified throughout their easy listening classics and adult contemporary tunes. In the early to mid-90s, the group had four Top 40 hits in the charts, including “Walk on the Ocean,” “Fall Down,” “All I Want” and “Somethings Always Wrong.”
