The underground efforts of three former Portlander service industry workers returns as RIP CITY COMEDY FEST 2024 hits Portland May 2, 3 & 4. Presented by Oregon Roots, Rip City year 2 has been labeled as “Comedy Summer Camp meets the early 00’s Vans Warped Tour vibe” and features over 7 stages and 50 comics from across the world while staying true to our city’s vibe of DIY art, comedy, and music. With performances from Lance Bangs and Sean Patton, to festival versions of local favorites Butter and Leave Your Troubles, with guided street art tours, music, and mini golf – Rip City weekend will always be exactly what it wants to be – a party – for everyone who loves this city as much as they do.

Jessica Michelle Singleton
Internationally touring comedy star, Jessica Michelle Singleton is a lovable maniac.

Raw and fast-paced, JMS is a powerhouse of comedy in a teeny tiny package – known for her high energy, overly honest, always silly, and often dark & dirty performances. Her standup performances have received accolades from A-List stars like Jim Carrey, William H. Macy, and Gerard Butler.

She’s a Paid Regular at The World Famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles and is the breakout star of ‘Iliza’s Locals’ a comedy special series produced by Iliza Shlesinger.
