Clowns Without Borders returns with a live, as well as online streaming performance of their 23rd Portland Clowns Without Borders annual fundraiser, Saturday, February 19, 2022. Many of the Pacific Northwest’s top circus artists, physical comedians, musicians and magicians gather their talents for one special evening each year: This is it! With a stellar line up of additional artists, producer David Lichtenstein expects a sell out inside Portland’s lovely Alberta Rose Theatre (see Covid safety requirements within) and unlimited seats to join us live streaming from the comfort of home.

Portland’s own cowboy-roper Leapin’ Louie headlines with Rhys Thomas’ JuggleMania (one word). Aerialists include the amazing Alicia Cutaia (Body Vox) and the powerful duo Larke Schuldberg and Bentley Moses with pieces sure to grab audiences with their emotional intensity, lyric beauty, and technical prowess. Artists newly added to the line up include Strong Woman, Tera “Supernova” Zarra (Game of Thrones), Tempos Circus and renowned tap-dancing saxophonist Michael Conley Shoehorn with his own special form of zany.

Masks required. Proof of FULL Covid Vaccination (photo of card Okay) at least two weeks past the date of last dose, with matching photo ID required for Alberta Rose entry.
