Join Oregon Natural Desert Association for an insightful evening with Wilson Wewa as he discusses the land, its people and the past, present and future of protecting the high desert in Oregon. Wilson is a storyteller, spiritual leader, and oral historian for the Warm Springs Paiute. A descendant of Paiute Chief Paulina and Chief Weahwewa, he learned most of the stories and legends he tells from his grandmother and tribal elders in Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and California.

The Land, its People and the Future will take place at the Hollywood Theater in Portland. Tickets are $10. Doors open at 6:30pm. Reduced cost tickets are available for those experiencing a barrier to purchasing tickets. Reach out to Claire Cekander (ccekander@onda.org) for more information.
