A silent film experience featuring a silent film classic paired with live music.
The General (1926) is a silent action-comedy starring and directed by Buster Keaton, featuring a Civil War-era engineer, Johnny Gray, who steals back his beloved locomotive, “The General,” after Union spies steal it. Through daring, self-performed stunts, Gray rescues his girlfriend, disrupts Union plans, and becomes a hero, utilizing stunning visual gags.
The screening will feature live music by local producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist MLTZR.
