Shoestring Circus returns to Vancouver, Washington this summer with Dreamland, an all-new original circus production performed under a vintage big top tent at Hazel Dell Commons from July 17–26. Following a warmly received visit last season, Shoestring Circus is excited to return to Vancouver with a completely new show that blends world-class circus artistry, live music, comedy, and theatrical storytelling into an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
Dreamland follows two unlikely guides on a journey through a strange and whimsical world where dreams take on a life of their own. Along the way, audiences will encounter breathtaking aerial performances, daring acrobatics, juggling, physical comedy, live musicians, and a cast of unforgettable characters. Equal parts hilarious, heartfelt, and awe-inspiring, the show invites audiences to step away from the ordinary and spend an evening inside a dream.
Founded in Washington State, Shoestring Circus creates intimate, story-driven circus experiences that combine extraordinary circus skills with original music, memorable characters, and imaginative theatrical worlds. Performed under a charming vintage big top, every seat feels close to the action.
This year’s international cast includes performers from across North America and Europe, including acclaimed French acrobatic bicyclist Fleuriane Cornet.
