No Quiet Hours takes over Portland’s historic Crystal Ballroom on Friday, August 28 for an all-ages fundraiser supporting the forthcoming feature documentary on Oregon’s independent music history and the DIY communities that have kept it alive across generations.

The night brings together more than six decades of Oregon music, headlined by a rare reunion of The Kingsmen, the Portland band behind the legendary “Louie Louie”, alongside The Shivas, Alien Boy, Pigeon Pit, Plankton Wat, Left on Read, and Happy Death Men.

Throughout the evening, the Crystal Ballroom will also feature archival footage and visuals connected to the documentary, turning the fundraiser into both a celebration of Oregon music history and a glimpse at the film currently being made.

No Quiet Hours traces Oregon’s musical lineage from the counterculture and garage rock of the 1960s through the punk and independent scenes that followed, and into the house shows, DIY venues, bands, and communities carrying that spirit forward today.
