Join us for a guided tasting of a spread of distinct honeys, each a reflection of the unique landscapes and blooms that surround us and other parts of the world. Just as terroir shapes our wines, the flowers, climate, and geography where bees forage give each honey its own color, aroma, and flavor. Tastings of Abbey Road wines and cheese are also included.
We’ll explore honeys ranging from light and floral to dark and robust, discovering how soil, season, and bloom all leave their mark in every drop.
Beyond the jar, bees are essential partners in everything we do here at the vineyard. As pollinators, they are responsible for the health and productivity of our cover crops, culinary garden and surrounding flora. We maintain on-site hives not only to support our ecosystem, but to encourage biodiversity across our estate — the same biodiversity that ultimately expresses itself in the complexity of our wines. A thriving bee population is a sign of a healthy vineyard, and we are proud stewards of both.
