Not just another walk in the park, Doggie Dash is Oregon Humane Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year and THE event for animal lovers in Portland. The event kicks off with a run/walk with a choice of two routes—a flat loop around Waterfront Park or a longer loop that traverses the Hawthorne and Steel bridges. Then, enjoy a festival of dog-friendly activities, including contests with prizes, an agility course, on-the-spot pet portraits, an animal communicator, pet massages, and so much more! The festival also has fun stuff for humans, like live music, a Libation Station for 21+ attendees, and more than 90 local animal-loving vendors.
By registering, you’re saving lives! Your Doggie Dash registration fee, as well as any additional funds you raise as a Dasher, impacts thousands of lives in our community. Each year, Oregon Humane Society finds homes for 10,000+ animals, investigates 3,500+ reports of suspected cruelty and neglect, and provides approximately $1 million in subsidized care to pet owners who need assistance.
