Danger Kitty is a Northern California band making their first trip up to Portland on May 21 for a show at Kelly’s Olympian with Ashleigh Flynn and Purusa.
“Our music pulls from a lot of places — indie rock, Americana, groove rock, a little funk here and there — but mostly we just try to make good music. Some songs are light and fun, some are just funky groovy and don’t let go, and some just get rockin’. We care a lot more about good vibes, music and community.
We have no idea what to expect for our first Portland show, which is kind of the exciting and a little scary. New city, good room, good people, and hopefully some folks who are down to discover something new for the night come hang,” says Demetra Frese, Danger Kitty’s singer/bass player.
