Art is King is more than an art event—it’s a movement. This one-day experience brings together Portland’s most talented designers and makers, each transforming raw materials into works of meaning, beauty, and purpose. From handcrafted jewelry to sculptural design, textile art to bespoke furniture, every creation is a story waiting to be told.
Hosted by Love is King, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking down racial barriers in outdoor spaces, Art is King blends creativity with advocacy. With 15% of all sales supporting Love is King’s mission, this event stands at the intersection of art and justice—where every piece fuels change.
This year’s event also features a special screening of the globally acclaimed film INWARD by director Chad Brown. A poetic journey through wilderness, identity, and healing, INWARD invites viewers to explore what it means to find one’s voice in wild spaces. It’s a cinematic experience you won’t want to miss.
