PDX Pipeline has worked with hundreds of Portland companies to help them promote their events, music and art venues, theaters, restaurants, bars, store launches, and more. With our site traffic and large social media campaigns, we reach every demographic spending money on entertainment in the Portland area.

Here are testimonials from PDX Pipeline clients (highlights by us):

Aladdin TheaterAladdin Theater/True West

True West Concerts and the Aladdin Theater began working with PDX Pipeline in 2010, and are charging confidently on with no hesitation. PDX Pipeline has successfully married their vibrant and assorted audience to True West’s ever-changing variety of concerts and performances.

We utilize Pipeline as a powerful buzz-building tool to get the word out about everything from folk-music to European thrash metal to indie rock to comedians.

Their ability to communicate with such a wide cross-section of Portland matches up well with the massive variety of performances that we promote every year across the Northwest. The staff at Pipeline is small, efficient, hard-working and extremely helpful. They have become not only our business partners, but our friends.

East Burn

We have been utilizing PDX Pipeline as our advertising venue of choice for nearly four years. As a newer establishment in the Portland area, we tested a few media options, and tried several mediums to try and get the word out about our events and happenings. What we found was that the PDX Pipeline reaches the broad base of customers we are looking to reach, yet the cost is a fraction of what it would be with most of the other advertising opportunities we researched and utilized previously.

What I have personally found to be even more important or maybe more relevant than just cost – is the feedback I have received from our customers. When I ask them where they heard about us, or how they found out about us, they do not hesitate, nor do they need to try and remember. They always know: “Oh we heard about this on the PDX Pipeline.” As a marketing manager, that is a question that can go unanswered for a mighty long time, and sometimes there is never an answer. Being able to quantify who finds out about an event, how and where is the ultimate goal for us, and with Pdx Pipline, we achieve this on a regular basis. The other terrific thing about the PDX Pipeline is the staff is very willing to work with you, communicate regularly, and even though they are super busy, they still make you feel like you are a priority.

Oregon SymphonyOregon Symphony

As a Marketing Manager for a non-profit arts organization we are constantly challenged with breaking through the marketing noise that ensues in traditional media outlets. We are also challenged with the effort to reach and bring in new audiences to our concerts. Sometimes organizations must take risks and venture into the non-traditional to differentiate themselves. PDXPipeline.com helped us do just that. Because they incorporate so many pieces including social media into their marketing messaging for their client we have seen nothing but positive returns from our advertising and promotional endeavors through PDXPipeline. We see PDXPipeline as a top referring site to our website through our Google Analytics, plus we have seen an increase in our own Facebook and Twitter followers through the postings of PDXPipeline.

For example, when ticket sales were slow for our presentation of the movie Psycho on Halloween day, PDXPipeline conducted an online ticket giveaway for us which resulted in a lot of online buzz about the event. They incorporated it into their Facebook postings, e-blasts and twitter mentions, resulting in 70+ of responses online and we practically sold the house out at the door minutes prior to the production.

PDXPipeline is a pleasure to work with and with the kind of results they produce I foresee a longstanding relationship with them now and into the future.

Thank you PDXPipeline.

We decided to try PDX Pipeline when one of our specialty cruises was not selling as we hoped it would, and were very impressed by the gain in website traffic, the social media buzz created by their popularity, and the boost in sales following the campaign.

Goodfoot Pub & Lounge

We at the Goodfoot Pub and Lounge have been very happy to partner with PDX Pipeline. They’ve been effective at bringing attention to our events (from art openings to concerts) and have most definitely helped introduce many new people to our venue.

As well, they are quick to help, offer advice and make sure that we’re satisfied in every aspect. Highly recommended.

Action/Adventure Theater

PDX pipeline’s Twitter giveaways are one of the most innovative and effective marketing strategies I have heard of in a long time. Doing the twitter giveaway helped gain publicity for Action/Adventure Theatre with a new audience, and in a completely new way.

Julian is at the forefront of internet marketing and I would recommend working with him anyone looking for new ways to connect with new audiences.

Roseland Theater / DoubleTee Concerts

We at the Roseland Theater and Double Tee Concerts have been very happy with our continuing relationship with PDX Pipeline. The Facebook and Twitter ticket giveaways and posts have proven effective in promoting shows online, especially shows that involve internet sensation bands which can be hard to market via print/radio and which seem to be in abundance these days.

PDX Pipeline has also stepped up when we needed it most at the last minute to help get the word out about a new development involving a show or to help fill the house if a show is suffering.  So it’s nice to work w/somebody who is willing to lend a helping hand in a time of need in return for our business.

Upright Brewing, Hop & Vine

PDX Pipeline has been a great way for me to reach people not normally in tune with the more craft beer geeky events but that are looking to experience something new and fun. I feel PDX Pipeline reaches a broader, probably hipper audience, than the typical outlets covering beer related events.

One thing is for sure it is an excellent way to get whatever your promoting out there and build recognition, receive lots of link backs and move your brand up in google search listings.

World Forestry Center, PortlandWorld Forestry Center

PDXPIPELINE is the most complete resource guide for events, cultural news, and other happenings in Portland. It is the most trusted resource for many Portlanders because their information is always accurate, timely, on-trend and they never miss a listing for any social event or experience. Pretty incredible considering we live in a city as unique and dynamic as Portland.

The World Forestry Center first started our relationship with PDXPIPELINE after the Marketing Director was underwhelmed by traditional media outlets success in attracting the elusive 20-30something age group. She sought an alternative source that would not only target but engage this demographic.

With PDXPIPELINE’s all encompassing marketing campaigns including web ads, detailed posts, facebook followings, twitter updates, giveaways, and other social media. No other media outlet can boast such consistent performance with measurable results, making PDXPIPELINE a constant in our marketing budget. The World Forestry Center is proud to be the first giveaway on PDXPIPELINE and looks forward to continuing this relationship in the future.”

Pittock MansionPittock Mansion

In efforts to reach out to Portland’s young and adventurous audience, Pittock Mansion promoted our current mountaineering exhibit, The Thrill of the Climb, and our First Thursday events through PDX Pipeline. We were thrilled to see an increase in website traffic from PDX Pipeline showing up on our Google Analytics almost instantly!

We were very pleased with the flexible options for promotions, and by the quality and frequency of the ads, articles, tweets, and messageswhich have no doubt contributed to the increase in visitors to our exhibit throughout the summer.

Northwest Film Center

The Northwest Film Center works year-round with PDX Pipeline to help build audiences and sell tickets to film programs, special events, and film festivals. Their website and social media communities are really popular forums to promote events and sell tickets to a diverse group of people looking for a fun night out in Portland.

PDX Pipeline is a great media resource for arts and film organizations!

Land PDXLand Gallery

We’re not your average art gallery, and our art openings aren’t your average wine-and-cheese affairs. We think art should be accessible and built for the people; so when we went to look to spread the word about our free openings to attract your less-than-usual art opening crowd, we thought PDX Pipeline would be the perfect fit.

In a town with so much to do every night of the week, it’s great to have a resource like PDX Pipeline to help promote the cause. They’ve been extremely helpful at listing and highlighting our events and bringing folks into the gallery who’d normally never go to an opening. I’m always surprised by how many people tell us they saw our listing “on PDX Pipeline.”

Portland Saturday Market

Portland Saturday Market

Portland Saturday Market and PDX Pipeline have been in cahoots since May 2010. Unquestionably the best blog in town for events, PDX Pipeline has their finger on the pulse of Portland. It only made since for PSM to join forces with the Pipeline and reach the broad base customers that we are constantly trying to reach in the go-go world of marketing.

PSM has a large presence in Portland, but as a small business we were able to drive more traffic to our website utilizing the Pipeline.  More importantly that the increase in traffic to our website was the customer comments we collected engaging the Pipeline followers with several different giveaways.

Julian is a mastermind in the field of internet marketing and social media, constantly creating a buzz that is very infectious. It is a pleasure working with him and his team at PDX Pipeline.

rose festPortland Rose Festival

Our marketing agency is always looking for great business partners and PDX Pipeline is officially one of them. In 2012, we decided to use PDX Pipeline’s services to promote the Portland Rose Festival. We were very pleased with not only the placement of our ads, but the extensive and easy-to-find editorial information.

We had hundreds of responses to the giveaways we ran with PDX Pipeline from people all over the Northwest looking to attend the festival. Some included their personal stories of past experiences with the Rose Festival and many had quirky and funny comments expressing interest in attending if they hadn’t before.

Advertising our event on PDX Pipeline was a great way to reach those who were already planning to attend and those who came to the site in search of Portland events going on during the Rose Festival.  As a long time follower of PDX Pipeline, I highly recommend working with them.

For the last few years, PDXPipeline has assisted SEMpdx in promoting SearchFest, our yearly Search Marketing conference.  We’ve found that our yearly PDXPipeline Promotion has generated significant local interest in our event.  Many people who follow PDXPipeline to keep abreast of Portland’s social and cultural scene also happen to be local technology professionals who are our target audience for event ticket sales.  We strongly recommend PDXPipeline to any organization looking to promote a tech focused event in Portland.

Electric RunElectric Run

We at Electric Run have partnered with several companies throughout our national tour, some effective and others much less so.  Both PDX and Seattle Pipeline ranked among the highest performers in any market and clearly know how to get the word out to an incredibly expansive demographic of active lifestyle enthusiasts.

There is no question in our minds that we will be using them for many years to come whenever we return to Seattle and Portland!
