Video from oregone: “Portland rarely gets hail, but on May 2nd, 2007 we got some marble-sized hail stones coming down over Southeast Belmont Street. They were the biggest I've ever seen. Sorry about the foul language at the end, but a hail stone hit me right in the ear.”
This is a 3 minute video outside the spot I was trapped in watching this hail storm. As you can see, there are several waves. At one point, it looks like the ground is covered with snow.
