My People’s Market is back in person for the ninth time, offering an immersive, in-person marketplace featuring 120+ BIPOC vendors each day, cultural performances, musicians, food, and beverages. The three-day event, sponsored by New Seasons and Portland State School of Business, takes place Friday-Sunday, June 3-5 between SE Taylor and Salmon streets off Water Ave in Portland’s central eastside. Explore culinary offerings from across the globe including Spice of Africa, Meals 4 Heels,  Kaah Market, Himalayan Dumplings by Kyikyi, Black Star Grill, Alleamin African Kitchen, and market newcomer Maruka Loka Antojitos among others. Cool off with custom drinks crafted with mixers and syrups direct from market regular Royalty Spirits. Dance along with interactive performances, musicians, and artists curated by Y.G.B.
