Rapidly growing, fast paced CPA firm looking for another member of our close-knit group.  We have experienced a tremendous growth in the past 12 months because of our customer-service emphasis and desire to help our clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • TITLE:  Various Openings, including tax prep, bookkeeping, and administrative.
  • DEPARTMENT: Tax
  • REPORTS TO: President and CPA of the Company
  • FLSA: Non-exempt
  • Salary Range:  $24-30/hr. to start
  • Hours: Full Time, M-F 8:30 – 5, with overtime of up to 10 hours per week between January and April
  • Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision with Kaiser- Most, if not all, paid by Employer.
  • 401k- company match up to 3%
  • Sick/vacation time
  • Major holidays off- paid
  • Start date: Immediate

Perfect Candidate Summary

Helpful to have an aptitude towards business; numbers oriented, and some experience in accounting and/or tax.  Able to take instruction well but work independently when necessary.  2-5 years’ experience in an office setting with various responsibilities.  Attention to detail a must!  You will learn many new things in this position so you must be able to grasp onto new concepts quickly.  You will learn about payroll, bookkeeping and accounting, personal and business income tax.  You must work well with others and above all, customer service is king!   You can go a long way in this growing, fast moving company, but only for the person that is willing to work hard at the little things now, will be more opportunities be available later.  We are looking for long-term employees that contribute to making this a special place to work.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Proven facility in MS Office, data entry and use of office equipment (i.e. telephone, headset, 10-key or calculator, PC, FAX machine, photo copier)
  • Proven facility in customer service, and problem resolution.
  • Experience with QuickBooks online
  • Understanding of personal tax returns
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
