Assistant Dean of Admission Visits

The Assistant Dean of Admission Visits leads and plans the implementation and recruitment of prospective students using marketing strategies and public relations skills, and counsels prospective students, community-based organizations, high school counselors, and parents regarding the admission and visit process. This position is responsible for increasing yield and attendance for admission events, virtually and in person. This position plans with consortium and local colleges for local, national and international events.
This position typically reports directly to the Associate to the Vice President and Dean of Admission and Financial Aid, is under the division of the Vice President and Dean of Admission and Financial Aid, and primarily works on campus interfacing with faculty, staff, and students. This is not a remote position.

Starting salary for this position is $52,000-54,000. Pay offers are contingent upon experience and are determined through an internal pay assessment. This is an exempt position in grade 4.

What You’ll Do
- Manage and execute strategic goals related to Admission visits and manage the visit program budget
- Advise and host students, parents, high school counselors, independent counselors, community-based organizations, and other constituents
- Lead team of admission student workers, including hiring, scheduling, providing feedback for student workers, and managing the student work budget
- Manage visits through designated customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Maintain communication with prospective families, constituents, and organizations throughout the admission and visit process
- Be an integral member of the Admission Visit & Events Team and lead associated projects
- Travel for short periods, approximately one to two weeks per year, and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
- Utilize analytical skills to work with and interpret data to assess opportunities for process improvement
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years experience planning and managing events, admission or related fields
