Powell’s Books is looking for a Corporate IT Business Analyst and Project Manager. This position is responsible for assessing and coming up with solutions for IT and company operations and workflows, identifying, researching, prioritizing, planning and project management at all levels, including implementation, administration, support and maintenance as needed. Works with managers and staff as well as outside vendors to achieve project goals. Acts as a liaison to departments and teams to assist and support business projects and processes to help produce better business outcomes.  Also acts in a confidential capacity by aiding management with negotiations, investigations and grievance process. Operates with a high level of autonomy and reports to the Corporate IT Manager.

This is a fully remote position; however, there may be the need for occasional on-site visits in the Portland, Oregon area. Oregon residency is required.

The schedule is Monday – Friday, business hours. On-call as needed.

Compensation is $35.75 to $38 per hour, depending on experience.
