You are an experienced Project Manager with a comprehensive understanding of light commercial construction, interior finishes, systems furniture, and Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC) activities including; space planning, move coordination, technology, low voltage, electrical, furniture, fixtures and equipment. You are passionate about delivering quality, safe and productive workplace spaces. If so, then we may have a position just for you! As an Interiors Project Manager with Multnomah County Facilities and Property Management you will perform professional project management functions for systems furniture moves, adds, and changes (MAC) and other tenant improvements, overseeing all aspects of projects; planning, design, construction, move coordination, occupancy, quality control, resourcing, schedule and budget management. Work collaboratively and promote positive relationships with other functional areas of the organization, project contractors, internal team members, external collaborators, customers and suppliers to gain consensus and deliver projects on time and on budget.
Multnomah County Facilities and Property Management Division (F&PM) manages over 3.5 million square feet of owned and leased space for County Programs in approximately 140 buildings. The division works with policy makers and departments to align business goals with long-term space requirements while providing a sustainable capital asset preservation program. The division’s responsibilities include facilities strategic planning and oversight; planning, design, and construction management for capital improvements; office and building renovations and modifications which include systems furniture and program infrastructure improvements, facilities maintenance and repair; facilities operations; and customer service and support.
