We’re looking for an administrative assistant to support our staff and a vibrant congregation that prioritizes worship, connection and service to the community and the world beyond our walls. You’ll be the welcoming presence in the office, support  our ministries (staff and volunteer), organize  office systems, maintain calendars, produce and distribute weekly worship bulletins and other communications,  organize building access, create in-person and Zoom meetings, maintain the church database,  answer phones and route calls and collaborate with staff and members using Google Drive, Gmail and Microsoft Teams.

Training/Experience/Skills Needed: Two years college or comparable life experience; office/reception desk experience;  ability to work with staff, volunteers and members of all ages; experience using databases, Google Docs, Drive, Calendar; Zoom;  Office 365; Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Teams. Experience using or ability to learn Weebly website builder, Canva and other software. Technical and production skills to create bulletins, announcements (email, web, social media); excellent oral and written  communication skills; ability to organize and publish communications efficiently and uphold deadlines; diplomacy,  flexibility and ability to set boundaries and maintain confidentiality; superior teamwork and customer service skills,  professionalism and responsibility; ability to pass a criminal background check if offered employment. All St. Luke  employees are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Type of position: Permanent, 40 hours per week. Hours worked on-site.

Pay: $20-21/hr. depending on training and experience

Benefits: Benefits per the St. Luke Personnel Policy, including holidays, vacation, sick leave, medical,  retirement.
