Here is the lineup for the night.
6:30 doors open
7:00 to 8:30 DJ – Dave Ott
Dave will be playing tunes to support the dance lesson and then some great music to get the night started and everyone warmed up for the band.
7:00 to 7:45 Dance lesson – Robin Robinson who is a amazing local Star dance instructor with be teaching a beginners lesson for a dance called Nightclub TwoStep. This is a very elegant dance yet very easy to learn the basic steps.
8:30 to 11:30 Live music
Norman Sylvester Band Featuring Sarah Billings
The legend and the Rising Star
This is going to be a rocking night with Norman “The Boogie Cat” Sylvester and Sarah Billings. They will play just about everything from pop, funk, blues, R&B, and rock!!! Norman truly is a Portland legend and was even inducted into the Oregon music hall of fame in 2011 and his band was awarded Best R&B band in 2015. Sarah Billings has been compared to Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt. Together they put on a amazing show that will keep you on the dance floor all night long.

The Dance Pavilion at Oaks Park is an amazing place! A huge ballroom dance floor with a raised stage for the band. There are tables and chairs to enjoy a beverage and conversation.
