Artist: Boone Speed
Last May, Boone Speed went to the 2010 Grand Prix Historique in Monaco to document and story, with cameras, the most popular spectator sport in world.

Every other May, classic cars, daredevil drivers and the global glitterati all converge in Monaco for the Grand Prix Historique. Racers from around the world flock to this storied Mediterranean city to take the helm where so many greats have taken glory or lost it all against the steel Armco barriers. The Monaco Grand Prix Historique celebrates significant eras of motor racing, from 1920-1970's, that created the foundation and ignited an explosion of interest in Formula One racing.

Music: BEDM (Boy Eats Drum Machine)
BEDM is the solo work of native Portlander, Jon Ragel. He is a songwriter, producer, singer, turntablist, and also plays saxophone, guitar, synthesizer, organ, and several percussive knickknacks. As a one-man musical act, BEDM merges the worlds of turntablism and live rock performance; he breaks and surgically inserts sounds while juggling vocals, percussion, and saxophone.

Benefit: Stand for Children
Stand for Children is an innovative, grassroots child advocacy organization. Their mission is to use the power of grassroots action to help all children get the excellent public education and strong support they need to thrive. They believe we need to stand up for our children now – particularly for their education from pre-school through high school – to create a better future for America. 10% of event earnings will go to Stand for Children.
