Explore Hoyt Arboretum’s Maple Collection
Take a guided tour through one of the largest collections of maple trees in the Northwest. Learn how maples vary in size, spring and fall color, flowers and seeds. Pick out the perfect specimen for your yard or just take an informative, leisurely walk through the arboretum.

From Weeds to Trees and the Stories in Between
Every plant has a story to share! Learn how the dandelion got its name, why the Douglas fir is not a fir, the tree that held the British Navy at bay, and more! This guided tour of Hoyt Arboretum will open your eyes to the histories and mysteries of the everyday plants and trees around us.
