The 2016 Portland Concerts in the Park series kicks off July 5th and runs throughout July and August at parks across the city.
This picture is from the Mt Tabor Concert series, which begins on July 5th. Mount Tabor has an ideal location for watching the concerts. It’s warm, but also has great shading so you are not getting scorched. You are allowed to bring food, wine, beer, with you, and there are vendors if you forget.
