Le Bon Vivant Happy Hour

More info: barvivant.com

Stop by Bar Vivant for Happy Hour from 4-6 p.m. for free tapas & amazing drink specials and tasty treats from their new tapas menu! Come on Thursdays when it’s Happy Hours All Night featuring $5 Tinto & Txakoli + 10% off all wine bottles.

Wine Enthusiast Magazine recently named Bar Vivant one of America’s Top Sherry Bars. Read more at winemag.com.

The new menu focus is on conservas:

Spanish “conservas” are preserved fish, meats and vegetables packed in jars, but more famously in cans. The Spanish view conservas as an art form, choosing only the best quality products from their distinguished regions of origin. In the Barcelona area, bars like Quimet & Quimet and Espinaler base all their tapas on conservas. Just Google “Anthony Bourdain Espinaler” for a tutorial. The best part? High quality conservas actually improve with age in the can!

Home is a group art show celebrating what evokes the thought of ‘home’. Proceeds of art sales benefit El Departamento De La Comida a non- profit organization that works on rebuilding a more resilient Puerto Rico by working on agro-ecological projects.

To rebuild a more resilient Puerto Rico, El Departamento De La Comida is reimagining how they produce, protect, and share the food we eat. The need for food security & sovereignty is one of the biggest lessons from hurricane Maria, and one that has inspired their team to reopen El Departamento De La Comida as a non-profit organization.

El Departamento De La Comida’s mission is to work with local food producers and consumers to develop a Puerto Rico that grows, eats and owns its food. They focus on supporting critically affected communities through innovation in food, agriculture, and renewable energy initiatives.
