ETP’s newest adaptation of a classic novella immerses audiences into a world of gold miners, cowboys, and the main street of an uncontrolled wild west. Explore Dr. Jekyll’s laboratory, the Lanyon General Store, Millie’s Saloon, and the assayer’s office as you experience a story of deception, love, hope, tragedy, and catharsis a mere inches away from where you stand.

It’s 1864. Thousands of hopeful people are swarming west, some looking for fortune and glory in the form of gold, others for fantastic opportunities in a whole new world. A manifest destiny is sought by all, but it comes with a deadly price. Death comes easily to those who are unprepared for the challenges that await, and even those who thought they were prepared.

Such is the world of Dr. Jekyll and his companions, Jane Utterson, Hastie Lanyon, his daughter Cecily, the Reverend Danvers Carew, and Millie Enfield. Having traveled long and far hoping to find success in a booming mining town, tragedy finds them first. And when a mysterious stranger shows up in town, more darkness is revealed.

Recommended for ages 16 and older due to mild profanity and brief nudity. A promenade performance, however, chairs are available (no reserved seating). Food and beverage packages available.

OMG, I’m beyond THRILLED to see this giveaway on PDXPipeline! Thank you Experience Theatre Project (ETP) for putting a pair of tickets up for grabs here! Whoever wins the tickets is in for an incredibly unique experience the likes of which you’ll never see elsewhere. Their company always puts on such exceptionally unique and truly memorable theatrical experiences every year. They deserve all the praise and then some.

I would positively adore getting to see ETP’s newest production and how Alisa and her crew have adapted the classic story and transported Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde from the damp streets of London to the gritty American West and how the actors bring these memorable characters to life amongst the audience in order to make us feel immersed in the story. One thing is for sure: I know it’ll be delightful!

I would love to have tickets to Jeckle & Mr. Hyde because I’ve never in my 43 year’s have seen a real play in a theater!! At age 27 I was diagnosed with a Kidney disease called IGAN by age 32 my kidney’s got to 4% each & had to go on emergency dialysis from that point on my health declined rapidly over 6.5 years’s My ex-husband left me after 22 years’s & I ended up trying to take care of myself by myself & my legs atrophied & became bed ridden & declined even more & dr. gave me 6 weeks to 6 month’s to live & they didn’t think I’d make it to my next birthday at age 38 & I was 88lbs. then on April 22, 2014 I got the bittersweet call I never thought I’d get, a 19 year old young man died & I received his gift of a second chance at life with a Kidney Transplant,, but its taken me until now to be able to very slowly walk again, & I still haven’t seen or gotten to do much of anything fun, since all my friends before & after my transplant left me too & my SSI income!! So I’d be Greatful,Thankful & also so excited if I was picked to win tickets to Jeckle & Mr. Hyde tickets!! Thank you for the chance!
