2019 Portland Metro Trick or Treat

October 19-20: Howloween at the Zoo | Free w/ Zoo Admission (9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
The zoo provides a fun and safe setting for this Halloween tradition, where costumed trick-or-treaters learn about wildlife in a fun scavenger hunt throughout the zoo. Howloween runs from 10 a.m. -3 p.m., and is best suited for kids ages 2-12. Free with zoo admission. Click here for more info.

October 26: St Johns Halloween Trick or Treat | Portland, Free (1-3 p.m.)
It’s time for the annual St. Johns Trick-or-Treat event in downtown St. Johns. Dress up, bring the whole family and trick-or-treat your way through the downtown businesses. Participating businesses will have balloons outside their shops! Click here for more info.

October 26: Halloween Trick or Treat Rooms @ Tigard High School | Tigard, Free (5-7 p.m.)
The community is invited to join us for our annual Halloween Rooms! This free trick or treat event for kids has rooms decorated for every age group. Click here for more info.

October 26: Trick or Treat in Downtown Milwaukie | Milwaukie, Free (2-4 p.m.)
Bring the kids and walk about Downtown Milwaukie with the kiddos for a fun afternoon of Trick or Treat at the participating Downtown Milwaukie Businesses! Click here for more info.

October 26: Trick or Treat on the Streets of Tanasbourne | Hillsboro, Free (1-3 p.m.)
Gussy up your children in their cutest costumes and Trick or Treat at The Streets of Tanasbourne! Come for a fun, safe, family environment. Children ages 12 and under. Click here for more info.

October 31: Trick or Treat on Denver | Portland, Free (5-7p)
Join us for our annual Trick or Treat on Denver Street in the Historic Kenton Neighborhood in North Portland. On Tuesday October 29th, from 5pm – 7pm, businesses along N. Denver Ave b/w N. Schofield and N Interstate will be handing out candy, hosting fun activities and enjoying all the great costumes we see every year! The Hive Tattoo Parking lot on N. Denver & N. October 30: Howl-O-Ween Wan N’ Walk | Gresham, Free (4:30-6p)
Join Mayor Bemis, your Gresham neighbors and furry friends for a community Howl-O-Ween Wag n’ Walk. Meet us at the Main City Park dog park, and we will stroll down the Springwater Corridor for a cozy fall wag n’ walk. Of course, doggie costumes are encouraged. Click here for more info.

A tradition for more than 30 years, children in costumes trick or treat at the businesses of Downtown Hillsboro. This event is a gift to the families in our community, from the businesses. Celebrate Halloween on Mississippi Avenue with kids, grown-ups, AND dogs!This year, Mississippi Ave invites trick-or-treaters of all ages AND breeds to attend our free, family-friendly trick-or-treating event on the street from 3PM-6PM on October 31, 2019. October 31: Trick or Treat on Main Street | Oregon City, Free (4-6 p.m.)
Come down to Main Street to Trick or Treat this Halloween! Join your friends and gather your family for an eerily good time in Downtown Oregon City. This annual event brings several hundred kids and their parents downtown for an evening of fun as kids are invited to trick or treat down Main Street at participating businesses. October 31: Trick or Treat on Belmont Trinkets and Treats | Portland, Free (4-6 p.m.)
It’s time to get that family costume coordinated, including the beloved themed pup, and support your local Belmont District in the 2019 Trinkets & Treats event: the local early Halloween trick-or-treating celebration from 4-6 p.m. on Halloween, happening up and down SE Belmont Street. Families are invited to join Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation for an afternoon of fun, safe, and rain-free indoor trick-or-treating.Dress up in your favorite Halloween, stroll indoors to collect sweets, toys and trinkets at this family-friendly event. Alberta Street businesses with Trick or Treat Alberta Street posters on display will be providing treats to costumed children as they trick or treat up and down NE Alberta Street. The Library is participating in the Sherwood Main Street’s annual trick-or-treating. Join us between 3:00-6:00PM for family-friendly and allergy-friendly treats and activities, rain or shine.

Join us for our annual Bethany Village Halloween Hunt! Participants follow the Halloween Hunt Map to Trick-or-Treat around Bethany Village. The Hunt ends with a Costume Contest at Laurel Parc with fun prizes and surprises! Click here for more info.

October 31: Main Street Trick or Treat | Tigard, Free (4-6 p.m.)
Trick or Treaters and their families are invited to join downtown merchants and others for this fun event. The Trick or Treating zone extends from North Main by Rite Aid/Value Village, all the way south towards Main Street Village. October 31: Fremont Fright Fest | NE Portland, 4-8 p.m.
Halloween fun for the whole family. Bring the little ones trick o’ treating at participating businesses on Fremont from 4 to 6pm. Let the older ones try the Haunted House from 6 to 8pm — if they dare. Along the way vote for your favorite pumpkin in our Pumpkin Carving Contest and enter your ballot to win a prize.
