The United States plays World Cup hosts France on Friday, June 28th at noon in a Quarterfinals matchup. Local connections include Portland Thorns’ greats Tobin Heath and Lindsey Horan, former Thorn star Alex Morgan, and former University of Portland star Megan Rapinoe is the USA team captain (and Wildfang model). Thorns defender Emily Sonnett & goalkeeper Adrianna Franch are also reserves players.
