Insitu designs and develops high-performance unmanned aircraft systems under the umbrella of the world’s largest aerospace company, The Boeing Company. Atop the helm is Esina, who stepped into the role in April of 2018. Previously, she held executive positions at The Boeing Company and Insitu and most recently worked at Adidas as the VP of Global Operations, Strategy and Programs.
In her role now she oversees the technologies developed by Insitu that can be applied to intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance efforts in the defense sector, as well as the government and commercial industries. Commercially, the company supports environmental monitoring, precision agriculture, search-and-rescue, disaster relief, and mining operations. The company exists to pioneer and innovate positively impacting peoples lives and changing the course of history.
Esina has extensive knowledge of both the defense and commercial aerospace markets, as well as experience in high-tech, oil and gas, consumer goods and other industries. Her roles have included vice president of Finance at Visa, and management and engineering roles with BearingPoint, Arthur Anderson, FiberCycle Networks, Electro Scientific Industries and Tektronix. Throughout her career, she has overseen a number of merger and acquisition activities, developed strategic partnerships worldwide and worked in more than 30 countries.
