Gungor
Michael and Lisa Gungor are curators of the Grammy-nominated musical collective simply known as Gungor. The duo uses their skills as accomplished song writers and multi-instrumentalists to tell honest and forthright stories – some personal and some allegorical. Together they’ve tapped their considerable musical reserves to blur genres and break expectations creating a unique magnetic expression.

Gungor recently embarked on their most ambitious creative project thus far: “One Wild Life.” The band will release three full-length albums – “Soul,” “Spirit” and “Body” – over the next 12 months. On August 7, they kicked off the album trilogy with “One Wild Life: Soul,” which debuted as the #15 album on iTunes Alternative chart. While each record will carry a distinct vibe, the album series presents a body of work that celebrates the adventure and challenges faced by Michael and Lisa Gungor since the release of their album “I Am Mountain” two years ago.

The Brilliance
The Brilliance is a contemporary classical music duo composed of David Gungor and John Arndt (2), originating from Tulsa Oklahoma. The journey started in early 2009 when David became inspired to create a unique and different musical experience outside of the typical “christian music” soundscape. David teamed up with longtime friend and fellow musician John Arndt and began the creative process.

Propaganda
From the same soil that grew Jim Morrison, Tony Hawk, NWA, Snoop, & Kendrick Lamar, grows another LA native, Propaganda. What do you say about Propaganda? He’s a poet, political activist, husband, father, academic, & emcee. With LA flowing through his veins & armed with a bold message, Propaganda has assembled a body of work that challenges his listeners with every verse & reaches across the spectrum of pop culture. From aggressive battle raps to smooth introspective rhythms, Propaganda’s music will cause you to nod your head, but more importantly it will stretch your mind & heart.

I’ve been listening to Gungor and The Brilliance from their beginning. Their music has been life-giving and encouraging in many different ways. Propaganda is the cherry on top!

I would love to win tickets to see Gungor. My only talent is that I can lick my elbow and that has never won me anything or brought me any luck. I’m hoping this will be the one thing that my stupid talent will win me. Thanks.

I’d like tickets because Gungor and the brilliance have been such a huge part of my faith journey. They don’t try to fit into the “contemporary Christian” genre, they just unapologetically create authentic and raw beautiful music.

When I moved into my old youth pastor office I commissioned my graphic designed wife to create a giant poster of the beautiful things lyrics, that song has hung throughout my ministry as a lasting confidence, my life and ministry has been forged out of the dirt by a God that makes something from nothing; As I took don this poster and rolled it up, walking away from my pastor role due to philosophical differences, I felt like my ministry was ashes, but took confidence the lyrics that told me, I’d God can make me from dust, he can remake my ministry from ashes.
