Brazilian Events PDX presents: 2019 Brazilian & Latin Carnaval & Mardi Gras party at the Goodfoot Pub & Lounge.

Its gonna be another great party with lots of live music by Pyatã & The Rhythm, Rio Style Carnaval Drumming by Bloco Alegria and DJ Blas Delascio spinning some great Latin-Brazilian grooves such as reggaeton, merengue, salsa, bachata, samba and Forro.

It will be a night to get your sweat on and break the ice from the winter. Bring your dancing shoes, dancing will be a must!!!!

Pyatã & The Rhythm play a variety of Brazilian driven music styles, mixing elements of reggae, funk, rock and World. The five piece band is comprised of an eclectic mix of talented multi-instrumentalists from different parts of the world creating a unique fusion of sounds and styles.

Pyatã, the lead singer, is a native of Brazil. While living in the US for the past 15 years, he has been greatly influenced by a wide spectrum of artists like James Brown, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, etc. and he fuses those musical styles with his original blend of Brazilian cover tunes and original compositions. Attending a Pyatã & The Rhythm show will unquestionably get your body moving on the dance floor! DJ Brother Charlie will spin samba, soul, rare groove, funk and more on the breaks! $10

    My birthday is BEFORE Mardi Gras this year, so I get to party it up and celebrate instead of wearing ash on my forehead
    Seriously though, I used to celebrate family-style in New Orleans but this looks like the next best dance party in Portland!

    I use to live in N’Orleans and really enjoyed the Mardi Gras in the 60’s before it got so crazy and the food was to die for then!! The porboy sandwiches were out of this world!
