Sounds like a fun mix of traditions. But we Norskis hardly know it’s Christmas unless the stench of lutefisk is filling the air. That’s our cue that it is time for more aquavits! Just as well for everyone else, I suppose. Count us in, though.

This is a great idea for a show and also a great way to use the great space still at the Coliseum.
There is no reason why it should be torn down as these events now have a home and could even
become every year. I would hope so in this case so If I don’t win tickets this year, I might stand a chance
    next year!

For long I have admired Norwegian countries. Their culture fascinated me and I find it beautiful. The holidays are a time where various cultures come together to celebrate life. I love emerging myself in new cultures and trying new cuisines. I am a huge fan of mythology and history, which are prominent in Nordic cultures.

  75. Katrina Smith November 14, 2018 at 11:52 am #

I am enjoying immersing myself in my Norwegian heritage this year by learning the language. This would be another way to really enjoy learning and experiencing traditions from Norge and the surrounding countries.

    Scanfair? Scanyes!

  77. Roxann Weger November 14, 2018 at 4:34 pm #

My husband’s heritage is mostly Norwegian with a little Swedish thrown in. Our daughter is learning about this side of her heritage (in looks she said she got all the Norwegian that her brothers didn’t); she’s even trying to teach herself to speak Norwegian. It would be great fun to send she and her dad off on a father/daughter event.

  78. Amanda Hatfield November 15, 2018 at 11:51 am #
