Hearing is believing! Portland Youth Philharmonic opens its landmark 95th season on Saturday, November 10th, in the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.

Hear PYP perform distinguished African-American composer William Grant Still’s ‘The Far West,’ from ‘The American Scene,’ Dvořák’s expansive Symphony No. 6, and the first movement of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, performed by 17-year-old violinist Aaron Greene (winner of PYP’s 2018-19 Soloist Competition).     I would absolutely love this. I want to give my kids the gift of the symphony. There is something majestic about witnessing it in person. My kids have always been musically inclined and we all have so much respect for the time and discipline put into it. We just haven’t had the chance to attend as I’d hoped to. Please consider us!
