As a young professional, wine enthusiast, philanthropist, and self-proclaimed foodie Corks + Forks is made for me (and named for me, as I have a “cute” habit of getting the cork stuck in the wine bottle for which my patient partner has to jimmy it out with a fork). I’d love attend Corks + Forks on June 6th so I can support the community, treat my food and wine loving partner to a nibble and sip (and leave all bottle opening to the professionals).

Listen my sons grandparents could really enjoy this .I Dont have any fancy terms to explain about wine but I can say they deserve it without a doubt. She works hard for portland public schools and lee takes care of his 91 year old mother. Andboth help with my 8 year old son .

I would love the chance to explore more Oregon wines (I’m new to the area) , while also supporting some really great non profits. It’d be nice to treat the wife to an event like this and take our parent hats off for a few hours.

  14. Katie Collins May 15, 2018 at 1:09 pm #

Why I would want to attend? As a fairly recent convert to all things Oregonian – and please, it didn’t take much persuasion – I am particularly entranced with Oregon wines. I am learning more and more, and would love to be in the company with other devotees while supporting fellow non-profits and celebrating our good fortune with my spouse. Oh yeah, and the food – what a perfect evening!

  15. Keena May 15, 2018 at 1:13 pm #

    Yep for me

  16. Janie F May 15, 2018 at 1:39 pm #

Supporting Oregon wines and local fare is #1! I cant think of a better way to spend my time.

  17. Cassi Bell May 15, 2018 at 1:51 pm #

  18. Scott May 15, 2018 at 2:59 pm #

  24. Monica May 15, 2018 at 9:16 pm #

I want you to “castaway” any doubt, put a cork in all the other possible winners and believe me when I say I am for(k) sure the right gal to choose for this event! I heard GREAT things about Corks + Forks last year, and I would love to attend this year courtesy of PDX Pipeline!

  25. Rachel May 15, 2018 at 11:36 pm #

Delicious Oregon food is a close second but there’s not much that I love more then wine… Though there’s nothing like the rush of giving back to the community. Corks and forks is the perfect marriage of all of the above – local food, wine, and fabulous non profit partners (particularly, in this year of the woman, the YWCA). Attending courtesy of PDX pipeline would be an honor as I could spend at the event in benefit of the non profit partners and maybe find a wine or two to serve at my upcoming wedding – as I suppose in my list of things I love I should have included my fiancé, who I guess I would bring along for the evening ;)

  26. Kristi May 16, 2018 at 6:47 am #

Three of my favorite things, food, NW wine and charity. We purchase tickets to a number of events like this each year, but I haven’t heard of this one. I’d love to check it out, so we can then add it to our must buy list for next year.

  27. Matthew Whildin May 16, 2018 at 7:15 am #

There are fewer things I love more than Oregon chef’s, wineries and DJ Shortchange. I would love to attend what is sure to be a fun opportunity to experience some amazing local food, wine, and like-minded folks.

  28. Danielle May 16, 2018 at 10:35 am #

    What an awesome event

  29. Carly May 16, 2018 at 1:13 pm #

Since I moved to Portland I haven’t had the opportunity to visit many of the wineries. I would love the opportunity to learn more about Portland’s vibrant wine culture, while supporting some of amazing local charities! I’d also love to take my European boyfriend with me and show him how amazing Oregon wine can be.

  30. Natasha Popenuk May 16, 2018 at 2:54 pm #

  32. Brianna May 17, 2018 at 8:10 am #

This sounds like such a fun way to give back to the community! What could be better than local food, wine and charity. Maybe just adding in dj shortchange! There ya go, best event around. Would love love Love to spend the evening wine tasting.

  33. Oliver May 17, 2018 at 9:51 am #

I don’t need another riesling to enjoy wine, but I would love to support such grape causes. If you don’t pick me that’s oaky, I won’t be bitter. I’m no brut.
