Hold up, MoveHub has released another most hipster city list, and on this week’s list, Portland holds the top US spot as Most Hipster City. (You might remember the story last week that Vancouver dethroned Portland.)

The popular shuttle to Multnomah Falls returns this year and is not only going to run year round now, but is also expanding service to Cascade Locks and Hood River.

And according to WalletHub, Oregon is the second most green state, falling just behind No. 1 Vermont.

Here’s a roundup of the goings-on in Portland this week:

I love the City of Roses. Yet over my 37 years living and growing up in the 503, unfortunately that love has slowly turned into,a feeling like after we have been rained on for 9 days and the drainage pipes overflowing around the bottom of the Willamette. I amuse myself with the fantasy that ghosts of our cities past, William S. Ladd, Katherine Dunn, and all the lost ones in the Shanghai Tunnels are so disappointed in us locals that they piss and shit in our river constantly. It acts as a reminder to myself to stay humble and true to my values. And so in staying true, I give my middle finger to all the fucking ‘Portland Hipsters’, to all you fucking privileged trendy(!?) selfie takers. Whiny power lames, to you all I say “Cheers”, a toast to them douchbags for keeping Portland weird alright!

    #1 in hipsters… don’t forget
#1 in homeless tents, traffic congestion, On the sidewalks, high taxes, outrageous home prices and hiking trails that now require a lottery permit system!

Portland was once great but it’s hit rock bottom from those times 15 years ago!

Forgot to mention hypdermic needles, campers at the Jehoavh’s Witness and Providence Hospital in NE, camps everywhere under bridges, panhandlers, people knocking on doors or cars to see if they are open at all hours day or night, people not caring about being polite to OLD people, rushing people who dont use turn signals or stop at stop signs and then flip YOU the birdy for abiding by the law. whatever. done with the attitude of the new people moving here too, they act like the own this place and they havent paid taxes here for 30 plus years.
