Join us for a high energy celebration led by Pyata and The Rhythm. Pyatã & The Rhythm play a variety of Brazilian driven music styles, mixing elements of Reggae, Funk, Rock and World. Based in Portland, OR, the five piece band is comprised of an eclectic mix of talented multi-instrumentalists from different parts of the world creating a unique fusion of sounds and styles. Pyatã, the lead singer, is a native of Brazil. While living in the US for the past 15 years, he has been greatly influenced by a wide spectrum of artists like James Brown, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, etc. and he fuses those musical styles with his original blend of Brazilian cover tunes and original compositions. Attending a Pyatã & The Rhythm show will unquestionably get your body moving on the dance floor!

    I’m a Brazilian living in Portland. Being far away from Brazil during this season is so hard! Carnival is one of our most cultural representation and I’d love to have the chance to enjoy a little bit of home far away from home!

    I was born in New Orleans and wish I could be back home to celebrate. I’ve traveled extensively in brazil with several close friends from the country so this would be a perfect night out!
