All C&K Songs, all night long
With special guest Johnny Valentine

Celebrating the laid-back island rock of Cecilio & Kapono (C&K), the group that rocketed him to fame in the 1970s, Kapono will be joined by special guest Johnny Valentine for “The Songs of C&K”.* With this tour, Henry Kapono takes the audience “Back in the Day”, performing the much-loved Songs of C&K, from romantic ballads to songs of the land to island party tunes designed to “put a smile on your face and good feelings in your heart”.

Special Guest Johnny Valentine,* Hawaii Music Award Winner, has spent most of his life entertaining in the heart of Waikiki. From shows to nightclubs, Johnny has become known as Hawai‘i’s most versatile singer. Notes Johnny’s nephew Bruno Mars, “He is one of my inspirations”.

I have a friend who is so passionate about learning about Hawaiian culture & music; this is the ultimate opportunity! I have been blessed to hear them while living on Kauai. By coming to the show, sharing and educating others about true Hawaiian culture would be so pono! Chicken skin!

I would love to go but ONLY if I can bring my UKE and play with them in the audience!
No just kidding, but I had you going didn’t I?
I would love to take my husband to see this since he is a huge fan of slack key guitar
    and anything relating to “surf.”
I will wear flowered clothing to look like I am about to fly to a warm island somewhere
and listen to the native music. Please pick us for the mere fact that it is cold outside baby!
I need me some warm waves! and some slack key guitar!
