Portland Story Theater is thrilled to be creating a very special edition of Urban Tellers®, featuring the real, true stories of immigrants and refugees now living in Portland, Oregon. Our goal is to address the ‘othering’ that has escalated in our country by humanizing and building connection within our own urban community. We are very excited to have the real, true stories of people originally from Palestine, Ecuador, Indonesia, Venzuvela, Chile, and Ghana telling their real, true stories. Connect to the heart and soul of Portland.

This special edition Urban Tellers is made possible through the generous support of the Oregon Cultural Trust and The Collins Foundation.

with music when the doors open by our new house band TONIGHT’s SPECIAL led by Aaron Mattison.

A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to the United Nations Association of Portland Adopt-A-Future program.

Note: Seating is limited, get your tickets in advance!

Every month, a group of six people come together as Urban Tellers® to stand and deliver the real, true stories that they have discovered, crafted, and honed in Portland Story Theater’s Art of Personal Narrative workshops. The results are highly personal and authentic narratives, told eye to eye, face to face, and heart to heart. Come. Listen.
