NSFW – Tales of Wit and Wildness Not Suitable for Work!
June 2, 2017
Doors 7 p.m., Show 7:30 p.m.| 21+
Join us for a night of stories “NSFW” (not suitable for work) by seven stars of our 2016-17 season. Leave the kids home but do come.
Award-winning storyteller Ingrid Nixon shares a pair of very personal moments. Retired teacher Patrick Gannon relates an incident he could never tell his third-graders. That classy lassie from across the pond, Anne Penfound, explores a question we’ve all wondered about a Scotsman’s kilt. Down-home humorist Steven Henegar reflects on what’s said at a family reunion —and what’s not. Medievalist Julie Strozyk’s Florentine alter ego takes us back eight centuries. And two local legends with 60 years of storytelling between them, PSG founder Ken Iverson and president Barbara Fankhauser, show us a side of themselves we’ve not heard before.
