The Dalles Civic Beer Festival

The 7th Annual Beer Festival sponsored by The Dalles Civic Auditorium is scheduled for Saturday, June 10th. This year’s event has been moved to the Lewis and Clark Festival Park near the Columbia River and will run from 12 noon to 8pm.
Over 25 breweries are expected to participate in the beer festival this year which will provide over 50 beers to sample. Wineries and cideries will also be participating.
Musical lineup is diverse and will appeal to a wide range of attendees: Brewer’s Grade at 12, Tony Smiley early afternoon, Barley Draught mid afternoon, and Victory Swig to close out the event.
Food will be offered by area food trucks and available for purchase. Lawn games will be provided by The Dalles Main Street which is partnering with the event this year.
Admission fee is $5 per person with a commemorative mug and 8 tastings for $20. Additional tasting can be purchased increments of $5 for four tokens. Attendees who spend at least $10 in the downtown The Dalles on June 10th or 11th will receive a $5 coupon off of the admission fee.
All proceeds from the annual event benefits The Dalles Civic Auditorium, an historical building built in 1922. The Beer Festival is a 21 years an older event. Attendees must provide photo ID at the front gate to be admitted.
Volunteers are being sought to work during the festival from set up to tear down. Volunteers will receive free admission to the event after their shift is over. The clean-up shift will be invited to an after party at Freebridge Brewing. Volunteer opportunities and the link to sign up can be found on www.BeerFestTheDalles.com.
