I would like to attend because I grew up on the East Coast and just started going rock hunting for agates, since I moved here and discovered all the natural beauties and treasures this wonderful state and the PNW have. I also have been bias towards blue crabs, thanks to the geological pool, however would love to give crabs here a try! I’m a college student at Clark College in Vancouver, WA and this quarter I have three really great, but extremely tough teachers. This would be life!!!!!

I will be half way there, just finishing a *meditation* retreat-what a hoot to go from that to a *celebration* of the fruits of the sea, the sweetness of crab and sea food, the crisp taste of Oregon wines. Astoria has great music, friendly bars, and fabulous artists–and I haven’t been there for at least 10 years.
