Northeast Portland

The Golden Easter Egg Hunt
April 16, 2017 | 10 am – Noon | FREE
On Sunday, Glendoveer Golf & Tennis will host their free community event called “The Golden Easter Egg Hunt”. It is their fourth annual Easter event; last year had over 3,000 people attend.
Starting at 10:15 am, children will be allowed to search a section of the golf course collecting candy and Easter Eggs (Number of Eggs per child based on attendance). The event will be divided into appropriate age groups and sectioned off accordingly.
Inside random eggs throughout the field will be hidden “golden eggs” with vouchers for special prizes inside. Click here for more information.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt @ Gerding Theater at the Armory/Portland Center Stage
April 16, 2017 | Noon – 1:30 p.m.
Here’s your chance to explore the historic 125-year-old Armory and win prizes! Pick up a scavenger hunt form in the lobby between the hours of 12 and 1:30 p.m., fill it out at your own pace and turn it back in for a mystery prize egg. Everyone who completes the scavenger hunt will receive one egg containing a mystery prize. If all the answers on your form are correct, you’ll receive two mystery eggs (two prizes!). Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza & Easter Sunday Tea @ Pix Patisserie

Code Orange Easter Egg Drop

On April 8th, thousands of orange eggs will fall from the sky once again at Brentwood Park as hopecity church hosts the 6th annual Code Orange Easter Egg Drop. Rabbit Romp features candy egg hunts every 10-15 minutes between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Children ages 3 to 10 are invited to hunt for compostable “plastic” eggs, candy and prizes. Toddlers 2 and under can participate in a candy hunt organized especially for them at the classrooms by Bear Walk Café. Blue Lake Bunny Eggs For All Hunt
April 15, 2017 | 1-3 p.m.
Come and be part of an inclusive egg hunt for kids experiencing disabilities and their families at Blue Lake Regional Park. Kids of all ages and abilities can walk, roll and wander the park to collect eggs hidden on a trail of discovery and among BBQs, trees and nooks and crannies. There is a tunnel of eggs, with eggs suspended from ribbons at all heights. A “fishing boat” allows kids to use magnetic poles and grabbers to find and collect eggs. And an area with beeping eggs offers a hunt for children with visual impairments. Thousands of eggs, stuffed with surprises by volunteers, are hidden, including golden eggs filled with “bunny bucks” that can be traded in for fun prizes. A very special visit from Mr. E. Blue Lake Bunny Bonanza egg hunt

Join us for the Bunny Bonanza at Blue Lake Park. The event is free (parking is free for annual pass holders, $5 for cars or $7 for buses). The candy hunts are at 10:30 a.m. for little ones 4 and under, and 11 a.m. for kids ages 5-10.  In addition you can have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny, have your face painted, make bunny ears or nature crafts or learn about natural gardening and composting! Easter Egg Hunt in Jaquith Park

Each year 500 – 800 children join NFD at Jaquith Park to search for approximately 8000 eggs split between two sessions that are divided into age brackets. There are approximately 4000 eggs in each session that takes the children 3 – 5 minutes to collect. Inside each egg is usually wrapped candy with around 150 eggs containing special prize tickets.
