Well what would a winter without wine be worth?
Certainly not filled with merry and mirth.
Riesling, merlot, and an oaky chardonnay,
You’re hosting a soiree, you say?
Oh to raise a glass while nibbling cheese,
My only reponse would be, “Yes please”.

This sounds like a much better way to spend a wet Sunday in Portland than driving all the way out to wine country to taste wine. Would love to attend this event, and would bring food donations even if I win free tickets!

  17. Kim December 1, 2016 at 3:24 pm #

  19. Georgia Hoover December 1, 2016 at 3:32 pm #

Sipping Portland wines on a chilly Sunday afternoon, – what a way to stay warm while learning about some of the local wineries. Add to that supporting a local food bank and you have the perfect event.

  20. Linda December 1, 2016 at 3:34 pm #

This would be a festive date if I won these tickets! Very close by, too! Hope I win!

  21. allison December 1, 2016 at 3:38 pm #

What says “holiday spirit” more than vino and a charitable cause?

If my friend and I win your ticket giveaway, we will BRING THE NOISE on our food donation!

  22. Sara December 1, 2016 at 3:41 pm #

Because I love wine! Especially Oregon Pinot! But I am laying in bed because I had a lumbar puncture. Wine tasting is how I get pleasure in battling my health issues. It lets me be “normal” and escape my life some, plus, as long as I don’t overdo it I actually get some relief from my symptoms!

  23. Riley December 1, 2016 at 3:48 pm #

I’m new to Portland (via Seattle), love wine (my father is a winemaker), and had to jump at the opportunity to learn more about Oregon wine and party with the local winemakers! Pick me! Pick me! :)
