Celebrate the wonders of the holidays at Symbols of the Season, Pittock Mansion’s annual holiday exhibit open November 21 – December 31*.

Pittock Mansion’s holiday exhibit has been a Portland tradition for 50 years. This year, explore decorated rooms inspired by symbols of the season, from angels, ornaments, and evergreens to snowflakes, sleds, and Santa Claus.

Local musicians will play regularly in the mansion’s Music Room during the exhibit.

Take the free shuttle from Sunset Transit Center December 17 through December 31* and receive $1 off each admission! See our website for details. This shuttle is provided thanks to a partnership with America’s Hub World Tours.

*Pittock Mansion will be closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

    I used to live in East TN and loved visiting the Biltmore during Christmastime; since I can’t go there, I’d love to check out Pittock all decked out!

      I would love to visit Pittock Mansion over the holidays when it is all decked out. I have lived here in the Portland area for eleven years and haven’t been yet. The festive beauty would be a wonderful event!

      Nearly half a century ago I was a child in Portland and I dreamed of going into the Pittock Mansion as we would drive by. But growing up working class in a family of eight that never came to be. Now all these years later as I return each Christmas to see my parents I wish I could take them to the Mansion and dinner as a good memory of our childhood and the parents who made so many sacrifices for their children.

    Couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate the wonders of the holidays. No other place offers a more breathtaking view or revealing glimpse of Portland’s past than The Pittock Mansion.     I did security outside of Pittock Mansion for a long time, but I’ve never been inside. It always looked so beautiful, but stood out above all else during Christmas. I love Christmas, so it only seems logical that this be when I see the inside! Thanks for the chance.

    I would LOVE to win … but I live too far away to make use of the tickets (Pennsylvania). But I am enjoying sights & sounds of Pittock Mansion at Christnastime on a wonderful obsolete DVD. It’s awesome of your community & volunteers to keep the mansion open and decorated like this, and to dress it up differently each year. If I lived out there, I’d make it an annual tradition to visit.
