Downtown Portland Tree Lighting

November 25, 2016 | 5:30 p.m. | Pioneer Courthouse Square
Thousands of Portlanders will gather at the Square to celebrate 32 years of lighting of the spectacular 75ft tree. This year’s event will feature a holiday sing-a-long with Thomas Lauderdale and members of Pink Martini, the Pacific Youth Choir, The NW Community Gospel Choir, members of “Oregon’s Own” 234th Army Band, and many more! Complimentary songbooks curated by Thomas Lauderdale, will be distributed to event attendees on a first- come first-served basis. Click here for more info.

Concordia University Christmas Tree Lighting

November 29, 2016 | 6-7 p.m. | George R. White Library & Learning Center
All are welcome to attend the Concordia University 2016 Christmas Tree Lighting. Enjoy a Christmas carol sing-along with Concordia’s brass ensemble and concert choir, Christmas treats and warm drinks, and a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Beaverton Tree Lighting & Holiday Open House

December 2, 2016 | 4:30-6:30 p.m. | Beaverton City Library & City Park
On December 2, the City has partnered with the German International School to host the annual German Holiday Market presented by Condor Airlines from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the City Park parking lot.  Traditionally held at the German International School, the market brings the traditions of a European winter holiday including German food, crafts, live music, wine and beer tastings and more! Lake Oswego Holiday Tree Lighting

November 25, 2016 | 5:30-6:30 p.m. | Bigelow Plaza
The Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce and the City of Lake Oswego invite you to join in a time-honored tradition as we ring in the holiday season. This extraordinary evening of holiday cheer includes caroling, performances from local high schools and the Millennium Concert Band. Gather at the corner of 5th Street & A Avenue to see the lighting of the Bigelow Plaza Holiday Tree, then parade to Millennium Park for the lighting of the Millennium Tree. Milwaukie Umbrella Parade and Tree Lighting

December 3, 2016 | 3:45 – 6 p.m. | City Hall
Join the Milwaukie holiday tradition of decorating umbrellas and parading through downtown ending with the lighting of the tree on Sat., Dec. 3. Parade participants are asked to convene by 3:45 p.m., the parade marches at 4:15 p.m. and the tree will be lit at 5 p.m. Click here for more info.

Join Santa Saturday, December 3rd for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Downtown Oregon City! Festivities begin at 4:30pm with performances and a holiday carol sing-a-long led by the Clackamas Community College Choir and the Oregon City High School Choir! Troutdale Tree Lighting

December 2, 2016 | 5:30 -7 p.m. | West Columbia Gorge Chamber of Commerce
Celebrate the “Season of Giving” in charming Historic Troutdale!   The festivities begin with musical performances, hot chocolate and cider.  The Tree Lighting is at 6pm with Mayor Doug Daoust officiating and is immediately followed by the arrival of Santa & Mrs. Claus by Fire Engine.  Stroll the streets with our Carolers, take a picture with Santa, enjoy holiday shopping, have dinner, and give a gift donation to SnowCap: food (for people & pets: canned or nonperishable), blankets, and/or clothing.  The Tree Lighting ceremony is held in conjunction with the Troutdale First Friday Art Walk which features local artists, galleries and unique shops.
