St. Helens Halloween Mask Making Workshop – 10:00 to 2:00 p.m.

at St Helens Public Library – In celebration of Halloween, the Arts and Cultural Commission will provide mask making fun for the whole family. For children ages 4 through 12, paper plate masks will be provided to be decorated with an assortment of sequins, feathers, paint, and tissue paper/glue application. Parent assistance is required along with a registration form. 50 Children limit. From ages 13 to Adult a choice will be given from the paper plate to an impregnated gauze mask molded directly onto the face utilizing Vaseline jelly on facial hair and skin. To register for the gauze mask making class, 4 hours is needed for the people to pair up and complete each other’s mask. 24 person limit. The purpose of this class is to provide an experience for expression of the soul in a way that will expand a deeper understanding of the self, community, and other parts that accompany the forms of human kind along with increasing family connection and collaboration.
