Called “amazing” by The Laugh Button, “bleakly hilarious” by The AV Club. “highly original” by Penthouse Magazine, a “Gem” by RE:Com Chicago Comedy magazine, “Killing it” by the Chicago Tribune, “hilarious” by Westword, “Fearless” by ComedyofChicago.com, “starkly original” and “impressive and refreshing” by Creative Loafing, Sean White was just listed as one of the top 16 comics in Chicago by Chicago Magazine “with jokes that look misery straight in the eye” and has been performing over 9 years in clubs across 3 countries.
His brutally honest style has landed him in the Hong Kong International Comedy competition, Bridgetown Comedy Fest, 10,000 Laughs Fest, LaughFest, Boston Comedy Fest, Laughing Skull Fest, Chicago Comedy Expo, and the Crom Comedy Fest. His debut album, Dead and Gone was called, “an essential rumination about loss” by the Chicago Tribune with “a point of view unique among comics” and listed as the “best comedy album” by UNScene Comedy, “Best Comedy Track of 2015” by AXS, and was listed in The AV Club’s “Best of 2015 so far”.
Originally from Alabama, Sean is now located in Chicago and can be seen in showcases, clubs, and family reunions throughout the Midwest and South.
Curtis Cook is a comic from Ohio now living in Portland, Oregon. He has been featured on VICELAND’s televised comedy series Flophouse and performed in venues and festivals throughout the country, including the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the Chicago Comedy Exposition, and San Francisco’s Sketchfest.
The Portland Mercury described Curtis’ comedy as “sleepy, slam poetry,” and the Willamette Week highlighted him as among Portland’s funniest comics.
In addition to performing stand-up, Curtis has also appeared on DAILY VICE and television programs in Kenya, Sierra Leone, and throughout the Middle East. He also co-hosts Earthquake Hurricane, a superlative comedy show every Wednesday night in PDX.
Bri Pruett is a stand-up comic and improviser from Portland, Oregon. She’s appeared at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the All Jane No Dick comedy festival, the Seattle International Comedy Competition, San Francisco Sketch Fest and Bumbershoot. She makes regular appearances at Helium Comedy Club, Curious Comedy Theater, and other Portland showcases.
She’s a fierce ally of Action/Adventure Theater, a non-profit independent theater and black box venue in Southeast Portland. She appeared in Action/Adventure’s celebrated, long-running, improvised serial: Fall of the House. A/A also produced an original Sketch Show: Making Sex, which local press said Bri showed “razor sharp comic timing.” Oh yeah. She’s the comedy sidekick, writer, and co-creator of Late Night Action with Alex Falcone, a live, talk/variety show. Along with comedy buddies Alex Falcone, Curtis Cook and Anthony Lopez she is the power quartet behind weekly comedy showcase Earthquake Hurricane.
Comedian. Former Baby, Potential Older Person. David Mascorro has an unrelenting, energetic soul. David started his pursuit of comedy in Chicago, and went through improv training at the Annoyance Theater and Second City, before turning his sights on stand-up.
David draws people in with his natural charisma, while proceeding to keep the laughs going with an infectious energy. When audiences hear David tell personal stories from his life, they instantly feel connected to him like a long lost friend.
David has performed at various clubs including Zanies, the IMPROV and the Laugh Factory, as well as alternative venues such as Upright Citizens Brigade, Chicago Underground Comedy and the Lakeshore Theater.
