“Participants attending Saké Fest PDX will experience dozens of saké varieties, including Oregon’s own SakéOne based in Forest Grove, and learn how to pair it with any type of food from some of our best local chefs,” said Marcus V. Pakiser, Saké Fest PDX spokesperson and internationally renowned Saké Samurai.

Pakiser continued, “Samples of Japanese and American brands and premium and several rare saké will be available, as will regionally micro brewed ‘jizake,’ which means small, regional saké brewer. Talented, local chefs from area restaurants and shops will prepare and serve a selection of appetizers, entrée samples, artisan chocolates, cheeses and foods that complement different types of saké.”

  • Learn how to pair Saké with any food — from chocolate and pizza to cheese and everything in between!
  • Experience over 130 samples of Saké, plum wine and beer varieties
  • Taste the finest Japanese & US brands

Saki Tumi Portland! I have never been to this event and even though I have no job right now or home, this could be the lift up that I have needed, if you deem it so…..
Saki, the wine that lifts you up, and brings you smiles and joy,
Saki the wine so smooth and sweet, that you become polite and coy
Don’t hold back your laughter, don’t hold back your shreaks, cuz saki fest is here,
just grab the friend near you and raise up your glass, and give em a real Portland cheer!

    Thanks PDX Pipeline

I’d love to take the missus to Sake Fest. She doesn’t appreciate sake very much, but I think that’s because she never had premium sake.
